ORGANIC FERTILIZER

Manures, compost, and bone meal are all examples of organic fertilisers that come straight from plants or animals. On the other hand, industrial or man-made fertilisers like ammonium sulphate or ammonium phosphate are made from mineral deposits that already exist on the earth. Inorganic fertilisers normally have only a few nutrients, like nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulphur, and sometimes even micronutrients. "Organic fertilisers are made from minerals that come from nature and have enough plant nutrients in them."

Organic fertilisers are made from plant-based materials, which can be either fresh or dried. The nutrients in organic fertilisers vary a lot based on where they come from. Compounds that break down quickly are good sources of nutrients. The amount of organic carbon in an organic fertiliser may be just as important, if not more important, than the amount of nitrogen and phosphorus.

ORGANIC FOOD

Farmers and food makers who grow and make organic food don't use chemicals like pesticides and fake fertilisers. They don't use parts that have been genetically modified (GM) or irradiate their food.

Organic farmers care a lot about the well-being of animals and the health of the earth. The word "organic" can also refer to things that come from animals. For example, organic eggs don't come from caged hens but from hens that are free to roam. Fruits and veggies, dried legumes, grains, dairy foods, eggs, honey, and some processed foods are all types of organic foods that can be found in India.

GREEN FODDER

Green grass is an important part of what dairy animals eat. It gives them the nutrients they need to make milk and stay healthy. Green fodder production gives farmers who want to raise sheep, goats or cows a better choice for buying feed for their animals. Some farmers even make their living by growing green food and selling it at the market. Some types of green grass can be chopped up with a local chop-cutting machine to make silage, which can be kept for years and fed to animals during dry or drought times. If you choose the right hybrid perennial variety, you can grow green fodder in open areas. Hydroponics systems can even be used to grow green feed.

BIOGAS

Biogas is a mixture of gases, primarily consisting of methane, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide, produced from raw materials such as agricultural waste, manure, municipal waste, plant material, sewage, green waste, wastewater, and food waste. It is a renewable energy source.

FISH FARMING

Fish are grown and sold by Desi Gir Food Park. It wants to make its effort bigger, Desi Gir Food Park started as an experiment in the garden of a house in a village in the western part of the state. The project's founder says that the goal is to make small changes that will make farming popular and a good way to make money.

To make the most of the huge potential for aquaculture in these places, it was important to find a way to grow fish in the limited room that was available. We worked hard and came up with the Modular Prefabricated Enclosure (MPE), which is a new design for a tank. On the other hand, irrigation tanks are sources of water that aren't used much for most of the year. After learning about and being inspired by intense fish farming in other countries, the Desi Gir Food Park set up the Biofloc Technology for intensive fish farming in the marine environment protection zone.

POULTRY FARMING

Through its activities in India, Desi Gir Food Park offers a wide range of chicken products and services. The company does a lot of different things. It has Broiler farms, hatcheries, feed mills, processing plants, animal health goods, and nutrition supplements. All of these things work together to make the business run smoothly.

Desi Gir Food Park sells rotisserie chicken, eggs with extra value, and processed meat. The company has set up a modernised store chain so that customers can get meat that is fresh, healthy, and clean. Desi Gir Food Park's goal of "energising rural India" through "poultry integration" has led to an innovative practice with a management style that would stand out in the business world by constantly giving value and care to all of its stakeholders. Both the farmers and the integrator can benefit from the plan.

SOLAR POWER PLANT

People are proposing agro-photovoltaic projects as a way to deal with the rising opposition to solar energy projects that take up a lot of lands and often cause problems with the local communities. Traditional ways of making a living, like grazing, and making energy can both happen on the same piece of land thanks to these projects.

Desi Gir Food Park set up a solar power plant, which is only for the agriculture pumps and home use of farmers in the six towns around it. People are proposing agro-photovoltaic projects as a way to deal with the rising opposition to solar energy projects that take up a lot of lands and often cause problems with the local communities. The electricity made by the pilot projects is sent through an 11 kV line to nearby towns and farms with irrigation pumps. The source said that this is cheaper than getting power from grids that are farther away. Electricity from power companies is usually sent out on high voltage lines of more than 200 kV. When it gets to homes, it is stepped down to 11 kV lines.
